DESCRIPTION

This simulation enables managers and employees to the business through their everyday activities and decisions. This understanding helps managers transcend traditional notions about functional barriers and ultimately leads to improved decision making and problem solving, and therefore improved company performance.

Following a realistic business process, participants make decisions across the value chain. These decisions impact their business results, as the market operates through a computerized model that reflects the consequences of their choices.

Teams go through business cycles, analyzing financials and retail KPIs. Benchmarking helps them understand business performance drivers and real-world KPIs.

  • Experiencing and understanding the interdependence of various departments within the business.
  • Understanding the trade-offs whilst making decisions around marketing, penetration, pricing, sales mix and calculating the effects on margins. 
  • Analyze your company financial statements and how decisions made by the sales force impact on these and managing cash flow.
  • Product mix – why it is important to focus time and effort in proportion to gross margin, and not just ease of sale.
  • Evaluating customer service and its impact on profitability.
  • Analyze debtors and bad debt. The necessity of assessing which customers are high risk and what damage this can cause to cash flow and profits.
